Description
aXeMit Import Products, Media & SEO Suite for WooCommerce is a complete WooCommerce product import and synchronization plugin built for store owners who source products from external suppliers.
Connect unlimited XML or CSV supplier feeds and let the plugin take care of everything automatically: creating new products, updating stock and prices, mapping categories and brands, downloading images, and handling products that disappear from the feed. Synchronization can run daily or weekly at a configured hour — no manual work required.
This plugin requires WooCommerce to be installed and active.
Why store owners choose this plugin
Most WooCommerce store owners who work with supplier feeds spend hours manually updating products, prices and stock. This plugin eliminates that entirely. Once a supplier feed is configured, every sync runs automatically in the background and your store stays up to date — without you touching a thing.
What’s included

External Services
This plugin downloads product images from URLs provided in your supplier feeds. The URLs are entered by you when setting up each supplier — no data is sent to any external service by the plugin itself. The plugin connects only to the feed URLs you explicitly configure.

Optional Pro Companion
This plugin is fully functional on its own. It does not require a license key, account, payment, external activation or upgrade to import products, synchronize suppliers, map categories and brands, process images, or view logs.
An optional, separate Pro companion plugin is available for stores that need additional tools beyond this plugin’s built-in feature set:
- Auto-resume watchdog for interrupted imports
- Automatic background trim — removes white or uniform backgrounds from product images
- Resize images to your configured maximum dimensions
- Compress to your target quality level
- Convert to WebP format for faster page loads
- Optionally serve WebP only to browsers that support it
- SEO integrations for Yoast SEO, Rank Math and AIOSEO
- EAN, GTIN and MPN fields automatically populated for the Google for WooCommerce plugin on every imported product
- Receive email alerts for sync errors and when products go out of stock — configure a notification address in Settings
- Bulk compress and WebP-convert all existing images in your WordPress Media Library — independently from any import
The optional companion is separate from this WordPress.org plugin and is not required for its operation. See https://axemit.eu/plugins/wp-import-productsmedia-seo-suite-pro-for-woocommerce/ for details.

FAQ
-
What feed formats does the plugin support?
-
The plugin supports XML and CSV feeds. Most supplier formats work out of the box — standard product feeds, price lists and custom XML structures are all handled. For CSV files you can configure the column separator, enclosure character, and whether the first row contains headers.
-
Can I connect more than one supplier?
-
Yes. You can add unlimited supplier feeds, each with its own field mapping, sync schedule, price rules and category mapping.
-
Does the plugin work with variable products?
-
Yes. The plugin fully supports variable products and product variations, including per-variation stock, price and images.
-
What happens to products that are removed from the supplier feed?
-
You can configure this per supplier. The available actions are: set stock to 0, disable the product, move to draft, delete, or do nothing. Each supplier can have a different setting.
-
How many images per product are supported?
-
Up to 5 images per product. The main product image and up to 4 gallery images (image2–image5) are all downloaded automatically during import. Use the Field mapping tab to map them from your feed.
-
Does the plugin support Google Shopping feeds?
-
Yes. The plugin auto-detects the standard Google Shopping XML format and can auto-map all fields (g:id, g:title, g:price, g:image_link, g:additional_image_link and more) with one click — no manual mapping needed. EAN and MPN values from the feed can be mapped and saved to each product.
-
How often can products be synced?
-
This plugin supports only a daily or weekly schedule at a time you choose. The previous short and sub-daily synchronization intervals are not available.
-
Can I run a sync manually?
-
Yes. Every supplier has a Sync now button that triggers an immediate sync regardless of the scheduled interval.
-
What is Feed check (Simulate) mode?
-
Feed check runs the feed parser and shows you which products and categories would be imported — without creating or modifying any products in your store. It’s useful for verifying a new supplier feed before going live.
-
What price adjustments can I apply?
-
Per supplier you can set a fixed or percentage markup. You can also define tiered markups by price range (e.g. products priced under 50 get +10%, products over 50 get +20%). Final prices can be rounded to .99, to a whole number, or rounded up. A maximum import price cap lets you skip products above a defined cost.
-
What is Draft mode?
-
When Draft mode is enabled, all imported products are saved as drafts instead of being published immediately. You can review them first and publish manually when ready. The Mass publish button lets you publish all drafts from a supplier in one click.
-
Can I map one supplier category to an existing WooCommerce category?
-
Yes. The Category mapping page lets you assign any supplier category to any existing WooCommerce category. You can also map multiple supplier categories to the same WooCommerce category, or choose to ignore a category entirely so those products are skipped.
-
Is the plugin compatible with multisite?
-
The plugin is designed for single-site installations. Multisite compatibility is not officially supported.
-
Key features
-
The plugin includes the following tools for managing supplier imports:
- Google Shopping auto-map — the plugin auto-detects the Google Shopping XML format and maps all standard fields (g:id, g:title, g:price, g:image_link, etc.) with one click. No manual field setup needed for Google feeds.
- Asynchronous background image queue — product images are downloaded in a separate background queue after the import finishes, so large feeds with hundreds of images never cause timeouts or slow down the sync.
- Tiered price markup — define different percentage or fixed markups per price range (e.g. products under 50 +10%, products over 50 +20%).
- Per-supplier missing-product action — choose exactly what happens when a product disappears from the feed: set stock to 0, disable, move to draft, delete, or do nothing. Each supplier can have a different rule.
- Feed simulation — preview which products and categories would be imported without touching your store, before running a real sync.
