atec Cache APCu

Description

This plugin provides a simple but effective APCu object and page cache.

– Object caching involves storing variables and database queries thereby speeding up PHP execution times. This reduces the load on your server, and delivers content to your visitors faster.
– Page caching refers to caching the content of a whole page on the server-side. Later when the same page is requested again, its content will be served from the cache instead of regenerating it from scratch.

Requires PHP APCu extension.
Lightweight (70KB) and resource-efficient.
Backend CPU footprint: 6 ms.
Frontend CPU footprint: <1 ms.

Easy free plugin for everything: object cache, page cache, gzip, minify. Works well and super pro support!

This plugin was great. Sadly the dev publishes updates without testing so the recent update kills the backend entirely. Just a small issue and can be solved quickly, but not everyone is a programmer in wordpress to check that. After he fixed it, he will hopefully exclude the homepage from caching by !is_home to take care of the 99% of websites who dont use an archive on the homepage. =) After the issue is fixed, i will change this review to 5 Stars again. Edit: That dumb dev did it again. update crashes entire backend and even as i told them how to not fuck it up, they proceed to release the next update with the same exact problem. So this time its on purpose and deserves a 1 star rating and a lawsuit!
