Description

Smart Shipping Rules for WooCommerce is a modular shipping rules engine for WooCommerce.

Create and prioritize shipping rules with stop processing and nested AND/OR condition groups. Manage rules with a Vue 3 Rule Builder, a secured REST API, and vendor-isolated evaluation for marketplace packages.

Marketplace compatibility:

• Dokan Lite 3.7+ / Pro 3.7+ (split shipping per vendor via woocommerce_cart_shipping_packages, packages with seller_id/vendor_id)
• WCFM Marketplace 3.4+ / WCFM 6.5+ (wcfm_get_vendor_id_by_post, vendor_id/wcfm_vendor_id)
• Condition vendor / product_vendor (equals, in, not_in, contains) with variation parent fallback
• Per-package vendor-isolated evaluation (woocommerce_package_rates at priority 20, after split) — mixed cart with vendors A+B creates 2 packages with isolated rules
• Hooks: wssr/marketplace/vendor_ids_from_package, wssr/marketplace/applicable_rules, wssr/marketplace/filtered_rates, wssr/marketplace/after_evaluate

Requirements: WordPress 6.4+, WooCommerce 7.0+, PHP 8.2+. Compatible with HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks.

External Services

Smart Shipping Rules for WooCommerce Free/Core uses external services only for premium module updates and licensing. Shipping calculation and the rule engine run 100% locally with no synchronous HTTP.

• Plugin updates
  Service: ArvynnTech update server
  Purpose: check for new versions and release metadata
  When: when checking for updates in the WordPress dashboard
  Data sent: product_id, installed_version
  Data received: new_version, plugin_slug, download_url, changelog_url, requires, tested_up_to, requires_php, requires_woocommerce
  Endpoint: configurable via filter wssr/update/server_endpoint
  Consent: automatic update check, can be disabled via filter

• Premium module licensing
  Service: ArvynnTech Software License Manager
  Purpose: validate, activate and deactivate premium product licenses
  When: when activating/deactivating a license, periodic background revalidation
  Data sent: license_key, product_ref, site_url, public_key
  Data received: license status, provider messages
  Endpoint: configurable via license filters
  Consent: user must manually enter a license key for premium modules

• License lifecycle
  Service: ArvynnTech licensing server
  Purpose: record license lifecycle events
  When: when processing order/license events
  Data sent: license_id, action, note with order id

These services are not used during shipping calculation at checkout. No order, cart or customer data is sent.
