AnyWP Weather



  • Display weather in fahrenheit or celsius
  • Location can be city, state, zip code, WOEID
  • Weather data from the Yahoo! Weather API
  • Customize text and hyperlink color by CSS
  • Lightweight, easy to use


  1. Download the zip file and extract the contents,
  2. Upload the folder anywp-weather to your WP plugin folder /wp-content/plugins/ directory,
  3. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins, and activate the plugin,
  4. Go to Appearance > Widgets, and drag the widget to a sidebar,
  5. Enter the location and choose the temperature unit.


How to change the color/size of text and hyperlink in the widget?

Simply create the following classes in your style sheet and add the desired styles:

.weather-text {}
.weather-links a {}
