Aidevelopia adds an AI support agent to your WordPress site in about one minute — no code, no theme edits.
Unlike generic chatbots, your agent is trained on your own content: upload your docs, FAQs, and pages, and it answers with your real prices, policies, and turnaround times. When it can’t answer confidently, it says so and offers the visitor a real human — you get an email, and with Live Handoff enabled you can reply from your dashboard straight into the visitor’s open chat.

The plugin itself is intentionally tiny: it securely adds the Aidevelopia widget script to your site’s footer. All AI processing happens on Aidevelopia’s servers — nothing heavy runs on your WordPress hosting.
External services
This plugin connects your site to Aidevelopia (https://aidevelopia.com), which provides the chat widget and AI answers.
- What is loaded: the widget script (developia.js) is loaded from aidevelopia.com on your public pages once an API key is saved.
- What is sent: when a visitor uses the chat, their messages, an anonymous session id, and the page URL are sent to Aidevelopia’s API to generate answers and power your analytics dashboard. If a visitor requests a human, the email address they choose to enter is sent so your team can reply.
- When: only on the public site, only after you save an API key, and only for the chat features described above. Additionally, when you save your settings in wp-admin, the plugin makes one server-side request to Aidevelopia to verify your API key (sending only the key and your site URL).

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin (Plugins Add New search “Aidevelopia”)
- Go to Settings Aidevelopia
- Paste your API key from your Aidevelopia dashboard (Channels Website Embed)
- Save — the widget appears bottom-right on your site

Yes — the free tier is enough to go live. The plugin connects your site to your account.

No. One small script loads deferred in the footer; all AI work happens on our servers, not yours.

Yes — everything is configured in your Aidevelopia dashboard under Branding, and updates appear on your site instantly.

Yes. The widget floats above your theme and doesn’t modify templates. It works alongside WooCommerce and standard caching plugins.

What happens when the AI doesn’t know an answer?

It says so honestly and offers the visitor “Talk to a human.” You’re notified by email, and with Live Handoff you can take over the conversation in real time.
