External services
This plugin connects to the Lobbychat service (https://app.lobbychat.ai) in two ways:
1. Chatbot widget script
When the chatbot is enabled, the plugin loads a JavaScript file from https://app.lobbychat.ai/embed/{your-chatbot-id}.js on every public page of your website. This script renders the AI chatbot widget for your guests. No personal visitor data is sent to Lobbychat beyond what the guest types into the chat window.
2. Enable / disable sync
When you toggle the chatbot on or off from the WordPress admin, the plugin sends a request to https://app.lobbychat.ai/api/public/chatbots/{your-chatbot-id}/set-active to keep your widget status in sync with the Lobbychat dashboard. Only the chatbot ID and the enabled/disabled state are transmitted.
This plugin requires an active Lobbychat account. By using this plugin you agree to the Lobbychat Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:

Installation
- Upload the
lobbychataifolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin directly from the WordPress plugin directory. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Go to Lobbychat in your WordPress admin sidebar.
- Enter your Lobbychat ID (found in your Lobbychat dashboard under Embed Code).
- Toggle the chatbot on.
