Add Featured Image Column

Description

This is a little plugin which adds a featured image column to WordPress. It automatically adds a column to any post type which supports a featured image. The code is pulled almost directly from my plugin Display Featured Image for Genesis.

Nice Add-On for Space Saving

If your blog’s space allotment is limited, this could be a space-saving tool for you! With the plugin, you don’t have to store images on your server, but rather utilize outside photo’s links to set as your featured photo for blogs.

For example, if you like to host with Flickr, simply copy the url of the image there and paste it on your WP blog via the plugin and you’re all set!

Isn’t that cool?! ^_^

Just the right size

I just tried another plugin before this one (that does the same thing), and its images were way too small for my feeble eyesight. I immediately came back to try this one, and I’m glad I did…because the image size is perfect for me. Thanks!

Great but…

This is a really useful plugin. The only issue is with Woocommerce. The “Products” screen already shows a featured/product image – so this plugin just adds a second column of exactly the same pictures.

In a perfect world we’d be able to turn it off for Woocommerce. Otherwise it’s brilliant.

Simple and effective

Does what it says. I appreciate that it works well and doesn’t have any settings. If i was to change anything it would be to shorten the column name or increase its width slightly to keep the title to one line.

responsiv!

Tut genau das was es soll und auch die Darstellung ├╝ber das Smartphone funktioniert bestens. Da hapert es bei den meisten anderen Plugins.

This is a great plugin!

If you have ever been like me and kept having to open up the posts to see what featured image was attached, you won’t be doing that anymore. This is a “must have” download for all my installs.
