This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

This plugin was custom made for a company for use with screen readers. It allows the user to embed YouTube videos in a post or page, which is controllable with the tab- and enter key, or via Screen readers for sighted or blind people.

  1. Upload the folder accessibleyoutube to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Use the shortcode [accessibleyoutube] and its attributes or use the small AccessibleYouTube-popup in the graphical editor
  4. Does it work? Please let me know! 🙂

How to use AccessibleYouTube?

[accessibleyoutube id=youtubevideoid width=width height=height]

You could also use the Video add button in the TinyMCE WYSIWYG-editor.

It’s not working?!?!?!?1oneone

That’s a shame. Could you please tell me at more? Please include information like a link to your blog, your WordPress version and which version you installed.
