Description
Live demo | Compare Free and Premium
Customers collect simple products and variations in a separate quote list. A confirmation dialog and list counter show what was added. The list keeps quantities and customer details together without changing the WooCommerce shopping cart.
Store managers prepare a manual proposal with negotiated net prices, shipping, customer billing address, terms and expiry. WooCommerce calculates taxes from the confirmed address. Published revisions remain fixed. Customers use a private link to view the proposal, download its Essential PDF with the store logo, and accept or decline.
Accepting a proposal does not charge the customer or reserve stock. A separate action prepares a WooCommerce order using the accepted prices and taxes; WooCommerce handles payment. Availability is checked when preparing the order and continuing to payment.
Free includes:
- A separate quote list for simple products and selected variations.
- Global options to hide prices and Add to cart, with a separate server rule to prevent direct purchases of supported products.
- Request receipts and store notifications through the site’s email transport.
- A manager request queue, manual proposals and immutable revisions.
- An Essential PDF layout with a local PNG or JPEG logo.
- Private acceptance or refusal and conversion to a native WooCommerce order.
- Private-link replacement and WordPress personal-data export and erasure callbacks.
Classic WooCommerce product loops and single-product forms are supported. Catalogue Product Collection blocks use product context for quote controls. The single-product Add to Cart with Options block is supported in block themes for simple and variable products. Quote-only product options remain available separately from direct purchasing. Verify custom themes and builders on your installed versions before launch.
This edition works locally without a HookSpark account or commercial license. Premium is a separate package with additional proposal layouts, reusable templates and detailed rules. No Premium runtime, external updater, automatic installer or telemetry is included in Free.
Dependencies and integrations
Requires WooCommerce, which manages product data, taxes and the resulting order and payment flow. Optional integrations are installed and configured separately.
Optional WordPress Abilities and MCP access
Optional AI access is disabled by default. On WordPress 6.9 or later, authorized operators can read supported configuration and prepare validated settings proposals through the WordPress Abilities API. For MCP clients, install the official WordPress MCP Adapter separately and configure a compatible client. Follow the HookSpark AI access guide.
One shared HookSpark access switch and review page serve installed participating plugins. A proposal must be approved in WordPress by the same user within 15 minutes; stale or reused proposals are rejected. The normal settings editor remains available without AI access.
The Free abilities expose storefront controls and Premium precedence only. They do not expose customer requests, proposals or merchant email addresses, and do not create requests, offers or orders.
Related free HookSpark plugins
Optional plugins, available separately on WordPress.org; neither is required or unlocks Premium integrations.

FAQ
-
Is the quote list the WooCommerce cart?
-
No. Quote-list products and quantities are stored separately. Adding to the quote list does not place an order.
-
Can I hide Add to cart?
-
Yes. Free has global catalogue and product-page display options. Prevent direct purchases is a separate server rule for supported simple and variable products. Other product types keep their existing purchase flow.
-
Does accepting a quote take payment?
-
No. The customer subsequently creates an order and continues through WooCommerce’s payment flow. Acceptance alone does not reserve inventory.
-
Does sent mean the email reached the inbox?
-
No. It means the configured email transport accepted the message. Check delivery with your email provider. An interrupted processing event can have an uncertain outcome and is not retried automatically.
-
Can published prices or logos change?
-
Published revisions keep their prices, taxes, terms, address and logo. A new proposal creates another revision. Accepted agreements are locked.
-
What data is stored and removed?
-
The site stores contact details, selected products, messages, proposals, billing addresses, decisions, email-event records and linked order IDs. List sessions expire after two days; manager draft inputs expire after one hour. Proposals and delivery records have no automatic business-record purge. WordPress privacy tools export data and can erase unaccepted requests. Accepted agreements, linked orders and uncertain outgoing email events are retained for separate store review. WooCommerce order data must be reviewed separately. Uninstalling preserves records and clears the plugin’s scheduled jobs.
-
Does Free contact an external service?
-
The Free runtime does not send telemetry, fetch remote PDF resources or use a commercial license service. Emails use the site’s configured transport; WooCommerce gateways and other plugins may use services configured by the store.
-
Is an AI client required, and what data can it receive?
-
No. All Free quote features work without an AI client. If you enable optional access, your configured client can receive supported settings and proposals under its own privacy terms. Choose its credentials and permissions carefully. Request a Quote Free does not automatically connect to an external AI service and does not expose customer quote records through these abilities.
-
Premium handles new requests and Free suppresses its storefront controls. Keep Free active to manage its own historical proposals and orders. Each edition retains its own records; no automatic conversion changes accepted agreements. Keep the originating edition active to manage its historical agreements and financial protections.
