Description
Build more of your website inside Divi. 5D Powers for Divi adds 19 configurable Powers for interactive design, reusable layouts, basic sales funnels, WooCommerce checkout, site utilities, and optional AI-assisted building.
Your pages remain native WordPress and Divi content. You can continue editing them normally in the Divi 5 Visual Builder.
Interactive design controls
- Triggers & Targets — connect Divi elements so a click, hover, focus, delay, scroll position, inactivity event, exit intent, URL hash, or custom event can show, hide, or toggle another element. Present the target as inline content, a modal, drawer, mobile bottom sheet, tooltip, or popover.
- Dismissible Elements — add an accessible close button to announcements, notices, and other Divi elements. Remember the visitor’s choice for the page, session, a chosen number of days, or permanently.
- Content Switcher & Scroll Navigation — create A/B content switches, tab-like grouped content, previous/next controls, deep links, one-page navigation, and optional progress indicators without replacing the original Divi elements.
- 3D Motion — add pointer tilt, viewport-follow movement, glare, scale, and layered depth with adjustable presets. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
- Logo & Image Scroller — turn a supported Divi row or section into a continuously scrolling logo or image strip with direction, speed, spacing, pause, and accessibility controls.
Layouts and building tools
- Design Library — browse 37 bundled Divi 5 pages, sections, rows, and modules, preview them, and add them directly to the native Divi Library. Coordinated interaction IDs remain connected when a design is inserted.
- Visual Builder Hub — open Divi Powers from the Divi 5 Visual Builder to review element connections, use Power Map, follow the ChatGPT-assisted workflow guide, or start an on-site Builder AI request.
- Builder AI — connect your own OpenAI API key and request a full page, new section, or selected-element revision from written instructions. The proposal is validated and staged for review; applying it requires the exact approval phrase and creates a WordPress revision with rollback protection.
Funnels and WooCommerce
- Basic Funnels — connect editable landing, offer, content, checkout, and thank-you pages into unlimited basic funnels. Reorder steps, assign products and checkout layouts, publish or pause the funnel, and review launch checks and basic activity.
- Free Checkout Layouts — choose Classic Enhanced, Modern Two-Column, or Focused Single-Column presentations for the native WooCommerce checkout. Assign checkout and confirmation pages and optionally keep the order summary visible.
- Commerce Utilities — configure practical WooCommerce behavior including eligible free-order completion, no-payment checkout for zero totals, billing-field trimming, quantity-one rules, cart isolation, Buy Now links, campaign coupons, account behavior, funnel-only products, and order-button text.
Marketing, members, and WordPress utilities
- Mailchimp Tags — choose audience tags inside a native Divi Email Optin module and apply them when the form is submitted. Existing contacts can be updated without changing their subscription status.
- Current User Shortcodes — display logged-in user details such as name, username, email, avatar, account links, and login or logout links in supported content.
- Admin Bar Quick Links — add permission-aware shortcuts for editing, Divi, the Theme Builder, media, content management, duplication, and plugin settings.
- Auto-hide Admin Bar — collapse the front-end WordPress admin bar to a small edge and reveal it on hover or keyboard focus.
- Duplicate Content — add a protected Duplicate action for posts, pages, and public custom post types when the current user has permission.
- Online Design and AI Model Catalogs — optionally retrieve current public design downloads and approved model information. Both online catalogs are disabled by default; the bundled designs and model definitions remain available.
What Pro adds
5D Powers for Divi Pro is a separately distributed add-on. It expands the same product family with:
- Visual Funnel Builder & Funnel Domains — arrange native funnel pages on a visual canvas and connect a customer-owned domain with guided DNS and SSL readiness checks.
- Woo Journey Profiles — route selected products, categories, or funnels into reusable purchase paths with their own checkout, thank-you page, cart behavior, layout, and rule sets.
- Cart Experience — turn the normal menu-cart link into a live dropdown, side drawer, or mobile bottom sheet showing products, quantities, prices, removal, subtotal, View Cart, and Checkout actions.
- Checkout Rules, Fields, Order Bumps, Direct Buy, Donations & Tips — add conditional checkout fields and validation, payment or shipping rules, checkout offers, direct purchase routes, and optional contribution choices while WooCommerce continues handling orders and payments.
- Split Testing, Reports & Insights, Site Auditor, and Funnel Validation — compare two page variants, record first-party funnel and revenue events, find broken or conflicting Power connections, and review launch readiness.
- Member Experience, Custom Login, Conditional Menus, and Redirects — design branded login and account experiences, personalize navigation, and control where eligible users go after authentication.
- PWA, Preloader, and Mobile Menu — add installable-site behavior, branded loading states, and expanded mobile-navigation controls with explicit compatibility and fallback settings.

External services
- DiviPowers.com supplies disabled-by-default online design and model catalogs plus optional design downloads. Catalog requests send server IP, plugin version, and HTTP metadata; the model catalog receives no key, prompt, or page. Remote previews can send browser IP, referrer, user agent, and HTTP metadata. Downloads send the asset URL; licensed Pro downloads also send the license key, installation ID, site URL, and Pro version. Disabling a catalog stops requests and ignores cached online entries. Service website, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI supplies optional model discovery and Builder AI proposals at api.openai.com. Testing/listing sends the administrator’s key, server IP, and HTTP metadata, but no prompt/page. A prompt also sends model, prompt, page ID/title/hash/content, optional selection, and layout instructions. Both synchronous and background requests set OpenAI’s
storefield to false. Long-running full-page and section builds use background mode, which still stores response data temporarily so this site can poll for completion; OpenAI currently documents that temporary polling period as roughly ten minutes. The key is encrypted or supplied by a server constant and is not exposed to the Builder. Provider charges may apply. Services Agreement, Data controls, and Privacy Policy. - Mailchimp supplies audience tags, subscription/update, and tagging through the data center configured in Divi. Opening the Builder can send the credential and audience ID to list tags. Submitting a configured Email Optin sends email/form data through Divi; Divi Powers sends credential, audience ID, MD5 subscriber ID, names when updating, selected tags, and a membership-status lookup. The site owner controls the form, notice, and consent. Terms and Intuit Privacy Statement.
- tawk.to supplies optional admin support chat. Its script loads only after Open Support Chat is clicked and receives browser metadata, hostname, theme and platform/plugin versions, support tags/screen, an opened event, and entered text. A direct-chat fallback sends browser metadata when opened. The local report is sent only if manually pasted. Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics can receive optional funnel events only through a separately installed Google tag when analytics is enabled for that step. Events contain the event name and funnel/step IDs, names, types, labels, position, entry/goal state, and optional test flag; Divi Powers adds no name, email, form, or payment data. The Google integration controls measurement/consent and may collect normal browser, device, and session data. Terms and Privacy Policy.
Mockup workflow
How do I build from a mockup?
Mockup uploads are currently unavailable in Builder AI. Open the copyable workflow guide in the Builder, then use its prompts manually in the AI service of your choice. Create image and icon assets separately, build editable native Divi modules, and complete responsive QA before publishing. No external service can call back into the Free plugin to administer the site.
Source code
Plugin PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and JSON sources are included. The bundled html2canvas 1.4.1 distribution is MIT-licensed; its upstream source and build scripts are available. See THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt and assets/vendor/html2canvas/LICENSE.

Installation
Upgrading from Powers for Divi: if Pro is installed, make sure it is already 0.22.7 or newer. Install and activate 5D Powers for Divi 0.23.7, then update Pro to 0.34.0. Activation deactivates the former Lite directory and preserves existing settings and content. Keep the old inactive files while checking any legacy asset URLs.
Upgrading from the former divi-powers directory: back up the site, then install and activate 5D Powers for Divi. Activation deactivates the old copy while preserving settings, funnels, and layouts. Keep the inactive files until existing content no longer references their asset URLs. Network-active installations must be migrated by the network administrator.
- Upload the
5d-powers-for-divifolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or upload the plugin ZIP through Plugins > Add New. - Activate 5D Powers for Divi.
- Open Divi Powers > Getting Started.
- Install the Divi starter page, open it in the Visual Builder, or insert a ready-made Design Library pattern.
- Open Divi Powers > Help & Support to search the knowledge base, submit a ticket, share feedback, use configured live chat, or copy a local system report.
Open Divi Powers > Builder AI to add your own OpenAI API key for administrator-started written prompts inside the Visual Builder. AI Engine is not required. Every generated layout is staged for review and requires its exact approval phrase; a WordPress revision and protected rollback are created before saving. The Free plugin does not expose a remotely callable site-administration endpoint.
FAQ
-
When is an OpenAI API key needed?
-
Only when you choose to run AI prompts directly inside the Divi Visual Builder. The optional key is encrypted before it is stored in WordPress and is used only for administrator-started server-side requests. All other Free features work without it.
-
Does a Divi Powers AI prompt immediately change the page?
-
No. Builder AI sends the saved page, request, and optional selected-element details to OpenAI, then stages a validated proposal. The page stays unchanged while you review the summary and diff. Applying requires the job’s exact approval phrase, a fresh page-hash check, and a WordPress revision.
-
Where are long-running Builder AI jobs stored?
-
While a long-running job is active, its prompt, saved page content, status, and optional mockup files are temporarily stored in a secret-derived directory inside the WordPress uploads folder. The plugin adds Apache and IIS deny rules and directory-index guards, limits file sizes, and schedules the job directory for deletion one day after the job begins. WordPress runs scheduled cleanup when the site receives traffic.
-
What information leaves my site?
-
Activation sends no telemetry. Local interactions, bundled designs, local funnel counts, and the copyable AI workflow guide work without an external service. Optional requests are disclosed below.
