wp_usermeta problem

Hi and first of all an happy new year for everyone here !!!

I wante to create a new blog but when I install WP 2.9 there is one problem concerning wp_usermeta. Here is the tag that I’ve copied for you :

wp_usermeta: Table ‘christine_abattu.wp_usermeta’ doesn’t exist

What can I do ?…
