   -How do you take a site down? Or better yet, can you change the name of the blogsite domain?

   How do you take a site down?

   Delete all of the WordPress files and folder. Then delete the database.

   can you change the name of the blogsite domain?

   Thank you ma'am...

   Now I'm having probs w/ the "categories". I am entering them as I want them. When I try to categorize posts, the categories don't appear to be there...

   That's a completely different topic but have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
