    Hello,
    I have been trying to access my page or for a few hours, but getting this message error:

    Error establishing a database connection

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

    My host is working fine, I can access all the files and pages on my server. The site was running normally untill I started receiving this message on my main page instead of seeing my website. I haven’t changed anything.

    That happens to my blog when the database server of my host is down, most of the time that is temporary in my case.

    In that case this is not the fault of your blog – if you didn’t make system changes.
    Contact your host, with hopes they fix that fast 🙂
