   WordPress.com Stats doesn't accept the API Key. It says: "The API key "############" belongs to the WordPress.com account of "#########". If this is not your account, please re-enter your API key." To test the API Key, I installed Akismet. That worked fine; the API was accepted by Akismet. Does anyone know how to fix this, so I can make use of WordPress.com Stats?

   I'm using Jetpack now, which includes Stats. The required connection to WordPress.com, other than the API-key, worked fine. I've removed WordPress.com Stats.
