   this is really odd:
   i have a contact-us page with coments disabled.
   every time i create a post ending with a link to the contact-us page, there will be a comment on the contact-us page (comments disabled) with the name of the blog, no email and the post's URI, and the body of the comment will be "[...] hyperlink_name [...]"
   i also have to say that we're using the rich visual editor, (ms-office writters)

   your pinging yourself when you link to it in the post. Disable that option or use a relative path to the contact page.

   Thats normal, btw, nothing "ghosty" about it.
