   I want to create a wordpress based ecommerce site selling several ebooks.

   It needs to be looking like like a blog where I will be updating content on weekly basis.

   For selling products I want to create a separate page on the blog saying "books" where all the tutorials will be listed with images. And all the recently updated product images should be brought on to front page sidebar automatically. When the image is clicked, the sales page should open.

   Please help me regarding this like what plugins should i use which allows me to blog as well as list products on a separate page and display only the images on the sidebar.

   have you used the wp-ecommerce plugin - i think that would do the job
