• I installed wordpress – everything works nice, only problem is the registration of co-authors (contributors). After the registration system sends an email to them which is their name, their e-mail address, but there is no password there. I create and send them manually, but it should automat -What do I need to do to change this?
    (I have installed and enabled plugins: All in One SEO Pack, Google XML Sitemaps, Internal Link Building, Post-Plugin Library, Similar Posts, WordPress Tweaks, WP Page Numbers)

  • Could be your host has something disabled. Might have to use a plugin to help with that.

    I do not think this is a problem host. To the co-authors is sent mail from the username and email, as it should with username and password. I wonder if this may not be a problem with the theme?

    Then try deactivating all plugins, change to the WordPress Default theme and see what happens.

    The fact that the system sends an email but there is no password suggests to me that there is something broken in WP.

    @maniekw, is there a password in the database after a user registers (before you (re)create one and send it)? The password should be in the wp_users table in the user_pass column. It won’t be readable but there should be a string of numbers, letters, and punctuation marks.
