In the admin under settings > media, you can have it so that the files are not organized into year or date folders, but that’s about it.
Plugins will always be uploaded to the plugins folder and uploads in the uploads folder.
Yeah, but the default location for FTP is /wp-content/plugins or themes
I need it to be /htdocs/wp-content/plugins or themes
i don’t understand why you need it to be like that….
My webhost starts with /htdocs
That shouldn’t matter. If you put all of the wordPress files in that folder, the WordPress install will figure it out.
