   When running the command "tar -zxvf wordpress-1.2.2.tar.gz" via shell to my remote webhost after uploading WP tarball, I got the following error:

   tar: This does not look like a tar archive
   tar: Skipping to next header
   tar: Archive contains obsolescent base-64 headers
   tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

   Un-tar it on your computer. It's not that big of an archive to upload when it's decompressed.
