Sorry, missed the free part. You can’t use excerpts with the FLV Embed plugin unless you create your own manual excerpts (minus the FLV Embed code). Details here:

Do you know of another way around it? Who about adding a image there?? If you click on the link on the right hand side to see thge post, you will see the images and the video there.
There any way to add a video there first?

I don’t know how it was done on that site, but you could try contacting the webmaster to ask if a plugin was used.
