Thumbnails Not Generating

I am going insane trying to figure out why I’m having issues generating thumbnails and it doesn’t make any sense at all. I thought it was specifically a NextGen gallery issue, as I’ve seen many issues with thumbnail generation but it also is applying to featured post thumbnails on my theme now as well, and only for new posts and images generated after yesterday. We’ve changed absolutely nothing on the website, but thumbnails just won’t generate.

For the NextGen Gallery thumbnail issues the common solutions are increase memory (which we’ve done even though the images are only like 60kb each), decrease image size or dimensions (again only 60kb and right at 640×480 in size so shouldn’t be an issue). I’ve even gone in and manually created 200×150 size thumbnails of the image, uploaded them to our FTP folder that they should be in and renamed them to the exact filename that the gallery is trying to pull from. This is where it gets really weird, because a couple thumbnails did load but the rest still won’t, even though the image link is EXACTLY the same as it is in the FTP folder, and all permissions are set to 777…..PLEASE HELP, I’ve fixed the NextGen issue before but now I can’t seem to find the issue, and I don’t even know where to begin for the Featured Post thumbnail not working, but the fact that it’s happening to both makes me think its something in wordpress or my server, even though I’m on an unlimited host.
