If you change the publication date for a promotion, it will be scheduled for the future and won’t appear in the slider until that date / time. As far as an expiration date, that doesn’t exist right now but I am thinking about adding it.
This is exactly what I wanted to ask as well.
We would like to use the promotion slider for events and stuff coming up on certain days in the coming weeks etc.
We would like them to expire like an event on that day. IE. as soon as you add a promotion slide and page, you also add the end date and time and it automagically disappears on that date never to appear again….unless you want it to by extending the expiry date.
please please please, then I don’t have to fool with other combining event manager and other plugins.
Any chance this feature will be available soon?
I installed the Post Expirator plugin in order to set my promotions to expire, and it works like a dream.
