SQL Query Delete Page

Im picking up the pieces of a website left to me to fix and want to change the url for my homepage. In pages there is no http://www.example.com/home or http://www.example.com, but when i create a page http://www.expample.com/home it auto corrects to http://www.example.com/home-2. so i figured i would go into the SQL DB and delete the page from their. i know i can change the setting to redirect to another home page but i want to keep it clean.
