• Please help– My WP blog has been up and running for about 3 years now. I think I am running 2.0 version. I went to view/post on my blog yesterday and received this message….

    Server error!
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request.

    Error message:
Premature end of script headers: index.php

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

    Error 500

    Apache/2.0.54 (Debian GNU/Linux) mod_ssl/2.0.54 OpenSSL/0.9.7e mod_auth_pgsql/2.0.1

…..I have a back up of most of my files but I do not know what happened or which files may need to be fixed. I have restored the index.php file and the header.php. ALthough I don’t see any changes that have been made to them. I have not done any work on my blog for a while so there is nothing that I may have messed up. It just worked one day and not the next.

DO I have to install a new version, and if so is there a way to do that without loosing my content since I do not have access to my admin dashboard either?

    Any help is great appriciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Lorrie

  • I see it is working at the moment. If this continues to happen out of the blue, you or your host may need to run a repair on your database tables.
