I used one of the theme presenations I found on wordpress. It is a good presentation and have really no issues. however... There is an orange RSS feed icon on the top right. When I use my computer at home which has the new Vista version of windows explorer (It was the demo from MS site you use on top of Windows XP) - it works fine... in other words its the vista version of explorer. The feed subscribes in my favorite places.. however, the office computer with regular XP IE brower goes to a page that looks like the html source code of the site when I click on it... I do have the podpress plug in. What can I do? WP-Multiflex-3 is the theme I am using.

ie7 which is what is installed in vista formats feeds. The same way the 'new' version of firefox does.

    ie 6 doesnt format feeds.

what you are seeing at work is the unformatted feed. what you see at home is the new IE7 way of formatting feeds.

If you want to test, you can try comparing just about nearly any other feed from any other site. You'll see similar results, I am sure.

There are exceptional cases to that rule though where the site owner has taken steps to circumvent that 'new, not so-user-friendly' feed-styling crap, (my own site is one such example).

And just a reminder, it's very helpful to include a link back to the blog so that people can "SEE" what you are writing about.

about how you tagged this post up there ^^^ -- this is not an error, it's a browser 'issue', if an issue at all.
