   I have the latest WP 2.3.1 installed but when a user tries to register on my site they get the following error. I have tried to re-install WP on my server to see if it was a corrupt file but that didn't help.
   I noticed that I only get the Error when I have the Simple Forum Plugin activated but when I contacted the Plugin Maker he siad it was a WordPress issue not his plugin, which would make sense since I have this exact plugin running on 4 other sites without a problem. I have also tried re-installing the plugin too:

   WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]
   SELECT meta_key, meta_value FROM wp_usermeta WHERE user_id = '1' AND meta_key = 'wp_sfadmin'

   WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]

   Does anybody know where contact information is for the WP developers, I can't find it anywhere. I tried trac.wordpress.org but it appears they deleted my ticket without even responding.
