We have a health blog that's been around for 2 years now and we have accumulated over 500+ posts.
Currently we are working on a website redesign and are running into a few issues.
We changed the categories on our new site which would lead to links already crawled with Google to be lost as they would redirect to a page no longer valid.
Is there any software or any way to preserve our old links and have them automatically forward to the new updated domain.
I did a bit of research and found that there is a plugin called redirection but I am not sure if this will resolve our issues on our blog.
Any help and advice would greatly be appreciated.
