  • What version of WordPress are you using? Does your comments.php file include a call to wp_list_comments? If so, can you paste that line here?

WordPress 2.7.1 — freshly installed yesterday.

I searched my comments.php file and did not come up with “wp_list_comments” anywhere.

I just discovered that it’s something to do with my theme, though — I switched themes and this fixed the problem. I’m not ready to abandon it yet, though (this will eventually be a commercial site and I’ve already started putting in my own logos and such). Is this something I’ll likely have to take up with the theme’s designer?

Yes – unless you’re in a position to edit the theme yourself.

Working on it — I’m a graphic designer rather than a programmer, but I’m having a little success dicking with the css, and learning a lot as I go. Thanks for your help.
