   I get this error when I try to activate the plugin

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /htdocs/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-likes/likes.php on line 97

   I emailed the developer and he informed that the php version of the server needs to be 5.2.x or later otherwise it will fail to load.
