Great plugin. Is there any way I can remove this from the header:
<meta name='NextGEN' content='1.8.4' />
My site fails html5 validation @ http://validator.w3.org because of this line. Any help much appreciated.

just erase the line which adds it to the <head>.
In the newest version (1.8.4) it's in nggallery.php - line 131, located in the plugin folder
