    I also had to manually override or better touch Plugin files to accomodate my needs.
    You can capture some stuff with CSS updates. You may then get the caption box cutting text slightly.

    If I new how to add my own templates for the popup (e.g. next prev button in the picture, selected EXIF within the caption…)

    Even I am not crazy about the out of the box thickbox popup. Could be more beautiful, so how to template this with your own plugin ????
