I wonder if this plugin is already abandoned, since it's not even working at the demo site? I tried with Chrome an Firefox (on Ubuntu), both with the sam reslut; lightbox shows, but the linked image doesn't.
I was about to install it, but I guess I'd better go on searching for a better one instead.

It's not abandoned but outside pressures have slowed development. Not sure why the demos aren't working properly but I suspect it's some style change I made not to the plugin but to the site. Thanks for letting me know.

Apparently W3 Total Cache was causing problems with it's minify methods.
dzappone, How is W3 Total Cache playing with Version: 2.3.1 now?

It works as long as you use the manual option for minify and exclude the jquery-colorbox.min.js from minification. Not yet sure why it's an issue. I'm still playing with the settings to see what exactly works and doesn't.
