    Overall, the gallery works great... Except it does not show the "close" button nor either of the forward or back links on an image.

    I am using my wordpress in a sub-directory of a site and altered the lightbox-gallery.js accordingly.

    Thanks!

    It is likely that lightbox-gallery.js is not set properly. You need to check line 2 again. If you show me the site, I will check it out. Thanks.

    The word press site is http://smoothjazznights.nishiokamedia.com/ (or nishiokamedia.com/smoothjazznights)

    My JS file is currently set to:
    var lightbox_path = 'http://'+location.hostname+'/smoothjazznights/wp-content/plugins/lightbox-gallery/';

    I also tried "http://smoothjazznights.nishiokamedia.com/wp-content/plugins/lightbox-gallery/" and "http://www.nishiokamedia.com/smoothjazznights/wp-content/plugins/lightbox-gallery/"

    Thanks again, really appreciate the work you're doing!

    I think I figured out what the problem is, more or less. It's a conflict with the theme I'm using. When I switched to different theme, the Lightbox suddenly started working. Not really sure where the specific conflict in the theme code is, but at least it possibly isn't something wrong with Lightbox or something I failed to do.

    Could you try to delete the script loading of http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js from the header?

    Thank you from New Zealand Hiroaki, that fixed it - I am not sure why it was there yet, hopefully it doesn't break anything :-)
