   I understand that google analytics tracks outbound links, but does it track incoming visitors to my wordpress blog? If I am interested in primarily tracking incoming visitors and where they are coming from is google analytics by best plugin choice?

   Of course it also tracks incoming visitors, yes, that's its main purpose :)
