"WordPress version is not displayed / not shown - WordPress version is removed"
The security check says that this is turned off but I still see the version in the backend as admin in the footer. If this one is meant to stay, where else can I check that it has been removed? If fixed, will they show again if the plugin is deleted?
Yeah the only WP version Signature that is removed is the front end. And this is a silly thing that we did years ago and it will probably be removed entirely eventually. Trying to hide the WP version Signature is a pointless form of Signature security because there are dozens of other methods that someone could use to find the version of WP that you are using.
To check the frontend of your site you would view your Source Code in whatever Browser you are using.
