   hello everybody!

   I want to do a plugin so I can modify the way the Update Services ping is done

   I believe I have to replace this function in comment.php
   [code]function weblog_ping($server = '', $path = '') {[/code]

   am I right?

   how do I call it so it replaces this function in the plugin I will make?

   the plugin will be used to change the rss url (I want to use an external from feedburner) and the "blog name", I want something different than the real blog name for the pings
