   i'm using wp 1.52. and my site generally takes a real long time to edit posts & such - i see that robert deaton's "no ping wait" plugin isn't valid with 1.5.2 & up, but can anyone suggest any ways to alleviate this lag? thanks

   How many services do you ping ?

   i didn't change add any, it's just the default

   I have the same problem.. when I update my site it literally takes about three minutes to finish loading..
