So i have a wordpress page with permalink http://www.mysite.com/my-site-com
and i deleted the page, and created a folder on my server in http://www.mysite.com/my-site-com/ and uploaded an index.html file there. Is it only me that it's not showing up and giving 500 error ?

I have this working on my site by doing the following:
1) Create a page and make sure the slug matches the folder you created on your server. Don't add any content to this page and use the default template.
2) Upload your html file into that folder on your web server.
I've done this on WordPress 3.4.
