    Hi There,

I am trying to insert a paypal button into my wordpress post. I am able to copy and paste the code, but the code disappears when I attempt to save it.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you sure you are logged as an administrator?

On my side, when authors try to write paypal code, it doesn't work. But I have no problem when I log in as an admin.

I just checked, and yes I am an administrator.

What is happening is I am pasting the code, and it appears in the both the visual and html window. When I save the post, the code disappears and does not appear.

I can paste the code without a problem. It just disappears for some reason.

I know this is an older post, but for anyone trying to paste PayPal code into a blog post, I thought I'd share a couple things.

If you're using the code PayPal gives you to put on a web site, you'll probably have problems because WordPress seems to want to add a bunch of closing </form> tags so it won't work.

However, there is a way to do it. There is a nice tutorial on the WordPress.com site. While it's geared toward wordpress.com and a self-hosted WordPress install, it's basically the same problem you'd be running into and a great solution:
