   Hi,

   Just loaded WP into a subdirectory (called, unoriginally, "wordpress")and have made the mySQL database and amended the config file as instructed but when I run the install.php script I get the following message:

   Parse error: parse error, unexpected '.' in /home/phil2775/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/user.php on line 244

   I have checked the line mentioned and it *looks* OK to my untrained eye:

   'show_option_all'../../wp-includes/ => '', 'show_option_none'../../wp-includes/ => '',

   Any suggestions on how I might resolve this?
