Newbie – database problem

Hi,

I am trying to solve a problem for a friend but I am kind of lost.
She uses DreamHost to host her site and WP to publish the content.
But she had disbled comment posting due to the high number of spam entries and since then she cannot publish anymore.
The error message from WP is: “[Table ‘blog_andrea.wp_comments’ doesn’t exist] SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = ‘0’”
The SELECT statement seems to reside in a php file but I didnt find it.

Any suggestions?
