   If anyone is tired of searching for a functional Custom Post Type setup, this seems to working good for me. Uses 5 CPTs with the admin and custom columns in place. You'll need to find your own way through my labeling. and to all the critics...I have no doubt there's probably a much more elegant way of getting it compressing it into a few less lines. I'm no php guru by any means. More than open to suggestions. But if someone needs to get the concept moving, this may work. Used the function.php from twentyten wp3.01.

   Check out the code below. You'll have to change the post type labels to fit your application. I'll clean it out with (easier to discern) dummy labels in the near future. Drop it in your functions and you'll see the changes in the admin. I've put together a better system since I (tried to post this months ago. If your interested, let me know.
