Moving wordpress to PHP5 server (2 posts)

    Hey there,
my serveradmin wants to install a new server - he is clever, and lets the old server still run, while he puts up the new, and tests it..
The old server can be reached via http://thc.franziskaner-fc.de/ everything works fine here.

The new server can be reached via http://tbc.franziskaner-fc.de/ and here, WordPress works fine in the background, but the front end fails to execute any further than the heading of the first post. Same with pages, it always stops at <div class="entrytext">

Admin interface is running.. I thought it might be, because so many things in the database still refer to the "old" subdomain (thc) but there was no change at all when I changed them all to tbc.

He is putting the new server online (via the "old" thc.franziskaner-fc.de domain). Will the problem still be there (as the wordpress installation than has the same environment, just a different server?

PS: the only thing our server admin fixed, was doubling the memory limit to 64 in wp-settings as he that, it wouldn't run without this..

    Thanks for any help!

You must change in the database all the references to the old URL to the new URL or it will not work correctly. Here is an article that explains what to do
