   Getting this message

   Warning: require(/hermes/web08/b826/moo.marcjohnsonbookscom/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/web08/b826/moo.marcjohnsonbookscom/wp-settings.php on line 21

   Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/hermes/web08/b826/moo.marcjohnsonbookscom/wp-includes/load.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php-5.2.17/lib/php') in /hermes/web08/b826/moo.marcjohnsonbookscom/wp-settings.php on line 21

   Can anyone advise me on how to fix it? The file appears to be in its proper place.

   Delete the wp-includes folder. Download a freshcopy of wp and upload a new copy of the folder to the server.

   I had a gut feeling that was the best solution but I had to ask any way.

   I just wish I understood why or how the error occurred in the first place.

   It only takes 1 tiny stutter in FTP to mess things up.

   You are right about that.

   I replaced the WP-Includes file with a freshly downloaded copy.

   Seems to have fixed the issue.
