Thank you TechGnome, but none of the plugins on that appear to be what I am looking for either.

I was hoping someone would know excatly what plugin was being used on the two sites above.

    Both have something called “brianslatestcomments.php”

    Could that be it?

Okay, I have no idea what plugin I am looking for at this point I am confused.I found a comments plugin that shows gravatars but like plugins it is poorly explained. So if anyone knows for sure what the name of the plugin is the site above use, I would appreciate it πŸ™‚

Those links I posted? Did you notice they list all the plugin files for the two blogs you’re interested?

From there, with our friends at google, surely you could do the legwork to figure out which plugins the two sites have in common and then which one it is you’re after.

Wowzer. I had to run check my blog. Happy to find that you can’t view the equivalent URL on my site, it returns a 403 Forbidden. Is that safe to have your plugins folder exposed?

I use the Comvatars plugin myself: http://soeren-weber.net/post/2005/08/07/44/

It uses functions from these two plugins to display the images beside the comments:
    Gravatars: http://www.skippy.net/blog/2005/03/24/gravatars/
    Favatars: http://dev.wp-plugins.org/wiki/favatars

Gravatars gets the images from gravatars.com and so forth.
Favatars gets the images from the favicon of the commenter’s own blog, if they include one.

Works well. You do need to install and activate all three plugins, but the Comvatars plugin controls it all. It inserts the images into your comments for you and deals with the other two plugins automagically.

I did do the legwork and it took me here .I even have the plugin installed and it works perfectly.Unfortunately it’s explanation as to how to get gravatars to show up leaves a lot to be desired.

acutally this is what they used for those gravatar comment thingys.
