Javascripts incompatibilities (1 post)

it has been a couple of hourse I am trying to figure out a way to fix a plugin incompatibility on my site.

I guess the problem is how some plugins are developed, not following some wp rules. See this page: http://www.lost-in-code.com/platforms/wordpress/wordpress-using-javascript-libraries-with-your-plugin-or-theme/

I have a theme that featues a sliding content - http://www.prato-affitti.com - and I can't use Umapper plugin because the javascripts are incompatible.

The problem is also with NGGallery (Effects), post-tabs and others.

I am not a programmer so I can't fix this by myself but I am sure thee is a way.

Maybe not calling the javascript in the wp_head function and have it loaded in the POSTS/PAGES, where is really the place wher I would need umapper?

Why these plugins don't give the possibility to choose where to load the .js file? I mean... there is no need to have ht umapper.js file in the index, so why not giving the possibility to escluded it from certain pages?

Anyway, is there anybody able to help?

    Thanks a lot!

    Gabriele
