Javascript loading

Hi

I got a wordpress 2.8 and the loading is rather slow – mostly due to the javascript librarys and multiple css files (wpsupercache is running). Now I read that it’s best to have the .js files loaded at the bottom of the page and 2.8 now supports this. But can I change that in the theme or must it be done by the plugin author.

And another javascript question: I’m using the Contact 7 Form but I just need it on the Contact page but still it’s loaded on every page … any chance to change that??
