Can’t log into WordPress because I entered an incorrect URL into the General Settings for the WordPress URL.

I pressed the save changes button and received: “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@tomasinitrainingcenter.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

I can no longer log in to WordPress as this error message is returned.

  • Use phpmyadmin to change back the site url. Database -> wp_options -> line 2 and 39.

I’m in my database using phpmyadmion and see all the tables.

In which table do I make the url change?

    Sorry for the ignorance.

    Terry

See Changing_The_Site_URL for details of how to do this.

Host company was able to fix it. The htaccess file was corrupted.
