   Greetings everyone,
   I am setting up WP for the first time. Following the directions for editing the config file went fine, I did however need to add the ?> at the end of the page.
   Now when I try to open the install.php page in FF it asks me to download the page. I have seen this when i have created sites with perl, i am thinking it is a script issue, the only issue is I have no clue where to start looking.
   Has anyone had this issue themselves and if so how did you fix it?

   enable PHP on the server
   preferably PHP5
