   after clicking install wordpress it just stops...willnot go any farther although it does create all the tables for the databases. have no idea on how to get it working

   No errors? How about any reports in the log files?

   Do the tables get populated? If so they you should be able to visit your blog/web-site to see the Hello World post.

   no errors nothing....but i can go to the blog and everything just cant log in or get a new password
